Store installation is the recommended path. Downloading the ZIP is only the first step. Chrome does not install downloaded extension ZIPs automatically. The fallback package is provided for browser policies that block store installs.

Browser extension

Clariva, one click away.

Pin it in Chrome, Brave or Edge and read webpages without copying text.

Four quick steps

Finish the installation

Install from the official store for automatic updates, or download, extract, load and pin the verified fallback package.

  1. Step 1

    Download the Clariva package

Use a browser store listing for one-click installation and automatic updates. The ZIP below is the verified fallback.

  2. Step 2

    Keep the verified fallback

If store installation is unavailable, download the manual package and keep the extracted Clariva-Extension folder.

  3. Step 3

    Load the extracted folder

Open your browser's Extensions page, enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked and choose Clariva-Extension. Store installs do not need this step.

  4. Step 4

    Pin Clariva and start reading

Open the Extensions menu, pin Clariva, visit a normal webpage and click the Clariva icon. Store-installed copies update automatically.

Open your browser’s Extensions page

  2. 2. Click the pinned Clariva icon or press Option/Alt + Shift + R.
  3. 3. Confirm the floating player appears and the active text is highlighted.

If Clariva still does not appear

  • • Confirm you selected the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  • • Remove any older Clariva card, then load the new folder again.
  • • Check the same Chrome profile in which you normally browse.
  • • Do not test on chrome:// pages, the Web Store or protected payment pages.
