Voice privacy⌄
Natural voice runs in your browser, so your reading text stays on your device. The voice files are downloaded once from jsDelivr and Hugging Face and kept by your browser. If they cannot load, your device voice reads instead. When the device voice is used, some browsers (such as Chrome and Edge) may send the text being read to Google or Microsoft to speak it. In the voice list these voices are marked "(online)", and Clariva only uses them if you choose one. To keep your text on your device, choose a voice not marked "(online)".
