Service description
Clariva provides accessibility and productivity tools including text-to-speech (read aloud), dictation, transcription, translation and writing assistance. The Services use artificial intelligence models and third-party providers to deliver these features.
AI services disclaimer
Clariva incorporates artificial intelligence for speech generation, transcription, translation and writing assistance. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies or unexpected results. You must review and verify all output before relying on it. Clariva is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, educational or financial advice. You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content.
Subscriptions and billing
- Free plan: Clariva includes 10 transcription minutes and 5 AI actions per calendar month. No payment is required.
- Paid plans: Plus costs £79 a year or £9.99 a month and includes 120 transcription minutes and 50 AI actions. Pro costs £129 a year or £15.99 a month and includes 600 transcription minutes, 200 AI actions and device sync. Business pricing is custom; contact us at support@clariva.live. All allowances reset each calendar month, including on yearly subscriptions. AI actions are shared by writing support, translation and Ask Clariva. An Ask Clariva question about a document over 12,000 characters uses 3 AI actions. Every other request uses 1.
- Read aloud is included on every plan. Device voice is free and unmetered on all plans.
- Auto-renewal: All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise Clariva to charge your payment method for each renewal period.
- Price changes: Clariva may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. Price changes apply to the next renewal period after notice is given. You may cancel before the renewal if you do not accept the new price.
- Payment processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to provide accurate payment information and to update it as needed.
Cancellation and refunds (UK consumer rights)
- 14-day cooling-off period: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK consumers have the right to cancel a subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. If you request that the service begins during the cooling-off period (by starting to use paid features), you expressly consent to immediate service provision and acknowledge that your right to cancel may be reduced if the service is fully performed before you cancel. To exercise your cancellation right, use the model withdrawal form below or send a clear statement to support@clariva.live or our registered office.
- Cancellation after 14 days: You may cancel your subscription at any time after the cooling-off period through your account settings or by emailing support at support@clariva.live. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until that date.
- Refund policy: If you cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period and have not used the service, you will receive a full refund. If you have used the service during the cooling-off period, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the cancellation date. After 14 days, no refunds or credits are provided for unused features, partial billing periods or early cancellation.
- Cancellation as easy as sign-up: Cancellation can be completed directly through your account settings with the same ease as subscribing. No phone calls or complex procedures are required.
